The DFT enables these companies to use the vast libraries of analog video material accumulated over the past 50 years through real time conversion into digital TV formats. Select CBS, Fox, NBC and WB stations, and HBO, a premier cable company, are using these Faroudja systems in their rollout of HDTV.
